We loved the Golden Eagle Inn! The staff were wonderful, the rooms were modern and super squeaky clean. It was quiet, just a few blocks from the square in Jackson and walkable to everything. We enjoyed the walkable town in the evening, and our purpose for the visit was hiking in Grand Teton. There was a nice size fridge, coffee maker, dryer and anything else you would really need. Parking was ample. When back in this area, this is where we will stay.

Family of 6 stayed in the house on the property. Great location - walked to downtown Jackson in about 10 minutes. So much fun shopping and restaurants. The house washer and dryer were appreciated, especially after river rafting trip. We stayed 3 nights, and a young male deer came and sat in the grass in the evening for over an hour on the last night. The kids loved taking photos from inside the house. Excellent value for Jackson Hole area.

When you first drive up, the property is very nice, but simple. It actually had the appearance of an old school motel from the 60's.... but the room was clean and updated, the lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfy. We also actually purchases bear spray at the desk at half the cost of the local stores (same brands, etc.). I would stay there again.
