"I needed a convenient place to stay with my dog on my way back to SLC, and this place fit the bill. I was able to park right in front of my room, which was convenient for walks and potty breaks. The room was comfortable but outdated. The gentleman at the front desk was really nice and helpful. I’ll definitely stay there again when I have my dog with me."
"Staff was great asked for a room on the top floor. The place was clean the floors in the hallway or vacuumed. The room was very clean. Breakfast was OK. The property was a nice property. Would stay there again."
"We chose this hotel because of its strong reviews and the promise of a smaller, more personal experience. Unfortunately, our stay did not reflect that.
We arrived before check-in and explained that we had groceries needing refrigeration and that my husband had worked nights and had not yet slept. We waited nearby, but were never contacted when rooms became available. When I returned to the desk later, I was told we could check in immediately.
Shortly after checking in, the water was temporarily shut off. While I understand maintenance issues happen, it would have been helpful to mention this at check-in since it occurred almost immediately after we entered our room.
We also found no towels available at the pool and had to return to the lobby to request them. Again, the issue itself was minor, but the overall experience felt reactive rather than welcoming.
None of these items alone would have significantly impacted our stay. However, together they created the impression that communication and guest service were not priorities. We specifically chose this property hoping for a warm, attentive experience, and unfortunately that was not what we experienced.
Also, most travels have early departures or adventures planned in this area. Chose this hotel for the free breakfast, website days 6:30 am weekdays but it was not until 7 am. No hot breakfast, boiled eggs etc. it was fine but felt more like something we could have got at a gas station. A water bottle station would be nice."
"My experience at this hotel was very disappointing.
At check-in, I was surprised by an extra $56 charge for my dog, even though I had confirmed by phone before the trip that pet-friendly rooms were available. Upon arrival, the information changed, and I was forced to pay the fee.
The room also had issues: the television didn't work, and the pool was dirty, indicating a lack of maintenance.
The worst part happened at breakfast. Although it was served until 9:30 AM, I arrived at 9:25 AM; even though I was within the timeframe, the staff member began clearing away the food. At 9:30 AM, she removed the batter from the waffle maker, took away the eggs I had set aside, and the juice machine had already been dismantled. It was an extremely disrespectful situation for guests who were still using the service.
The next day, I had a mechanical issue with my car and asked to leave my pet in the room for about two hours after check-out, offering to pay an additional fee. The reception staff was rude and unhelpful. Instead of trying to assist, they charged me for an extra full night and charged the pet fee again as well.
Check-out was at 11:00 AM, and I left the hotel around 3:00 PM after resolving the vehicle issue. I consider this charge excessive and unfair.
Between unexpected charges, contradictory information, lack of maintenance, and service that showed no regard for the customer, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I do not recommend it."
"We had an incredible stay. The complimentary breakfast every morning was fantastic, the wonderful lady Carmen was on top of it if something ran out. She was absolutely brilliant.
The pool was great too, it's centrally located to everything we were wanting to see or do and the room was huge, much bigger than we expected.
We will 1000% without a doubt be back!
(Thanks so much for such a great stay! It was my first time in St. George!)"
"Very nice property, well maintained. The rooms were very nice and clean. Definitely enjoy our stay here and would stay here again in the future. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs."
