"Instructions were clear for checkin, we had parking close to the room, two beds as listed, TV easy to use, fridge, coffee maker, air control, and all plumbing functioned well, windows had shades, doors locked. By that standard it met all out needs for safety and staying comfortable. Hence the 4 star review, they did provide a safe and quite and well maintained facility But I had kids and they are very observant as am I. We all noticed there was black hair on pretty much every surface, beds, sheets, tables, sink, also noticeable substances on walls by bed and in bathroom, door, floor, something pink growing on door frame. We used out own blankets to sleep on top on the beds without sheets and made sure not to touch ANYTHING"

"Amazing location! Very real old time feel. In fact, we had a cabin on Twin Lakes 65 years ago and Tamarack Lodge was part of my early memory. Loved the live music and breakfast was good. Room was fun, but the bed wasn't the best. The floor was slanted and so were we! Not overly concerned do to the nature of the lodge. Don't get the" resort fee" as there are really no amenities, but it's the latest insult to travelers."

"everything was fine, conveniently located, clean rooms. The only thing is the "breakfast included' advertisement. The "breakfast" consists of coffee, a couple different pastries, yogurt and a couple of different basic cereals, I would call it "snacks" instead of "breakfast"."
