We had a fantastic two-night stay at Hotel Garda Life. We were immediately welcomed by Gigliona, a remarkably kind and friendly receptionist. Her excellent English was a huge help, as I couldn't communicate in Italian, and she made our check-in completely seamless. The hotel is perfectly located: it's close to many great restaurants, a gelateria, a shopping area, a Coop market, and it's just a five-minute walk to Lago di Garda. Our room was spotless, featuring a wonderfully comfy bed and an...

Beautiful hotel, deserves 5 stars, breakfast is included and amazing. Easily accessible, you take bus 1 and the funicular train san vigilio. Beautiful views.

Set on the banks of Lake di Annone this superb hotel was just what we needed. Quiet, exclusive & with amazing service. We had a signature suite, so we had a hot tub with a huge wrap around balcony. Our super king size bed overlooked the lake with double aspect windows, which was wonderful to wake up to. The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating. We ate in the Michelin* restaurant in the hotel. We booked our room very last minute & so initially they said they couldn’t fit us in...

Great communications ahead of our stay, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. I really cannot compliment them highly enough. We were even shown into the breakfast room early on our last day and were able to take a packed breakfast for our journey. The breakfast was varied, and the restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The service and food were always excellent. The setting is perfect, right on the lake. The parking was handy but we didn't need our car during our stay - it's...

This place is a hidden gem in a typical Italian setting 5 minutes walk from Vezio Castle in the hills above Varenna ferry port. Rita the host and Kirsty are the most helpful and friendliest people you could ever meet and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them to do for you. The walk down to the ferry is quite steep on a cobbled trail but only takes 10 to 15 minutes and walking back up is a little more challenging especially after some wine and pasta down at the lovely restaurants in...

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff

Amazing stay, great food, brilliant views to lake Como and the owner Gianluca and his staff made us to enjoy every second here at Essencia Guest House. 👏👏👏

We stayed for 6 days. We choose this location to be able to safely & conveniently park our car, we also booked as looked so tranquil from the website & had a heated pool. If you are looking for a quiet, away from the Center, with good parking & that has great views, this is the place. Breakfast was amazing as were the staff, always helpful. Access to refillable sparkling or still water, coffee, snacks are available 24/7 which was really great. Our room was wonderful, great views from the...

Everything worked well from the ease of checking in to the upgraded room overlooking the lake to the excellent, responsive staff. The visit was a delight from start to finish. Of particular note were the arrangements for breakfast and the extreme helpfulness and resourcefulness of the members of the concierge team. Can't speak highly enough of them.

Absolute hidden gem, made to feel very welcome, great location and amenities. Increasingly clean and modern. Can’t recommend enough

Think this is the 5th time we have stayed at the Dolomiti. Great hotel, friendly staff and superb location. Pool is a very welcome addition when the weather is hot.

The staff were so helpful, the breakfasts were amazing and all the facilities were very good. There is a bubble pool, sauna, relaxation rooms and various massages that can be booked. I had the singing bowls massage it was superb.

Absolutely fabulous way to enjoy Lake Garda. All the scenery but away from the mass crowds. Beautiful location in a small village square overlooking the lake. Rooms are spacious - we stayed in a vintage room- bed very comfortable and effective air conditioning. High quality towels and bedding. Swimming pool and hot tub area was modern and immaculate- staff very happy to bring drinks and snacks to sun loungers (umbrellas provided). We ate in the restaurant both nights and food was very high...

This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed as it offers so much more than just a comfortable hotel space. The connection of Casa sull'albero to its magnificent position overlooking Lake Como is very sensitively achieved. It is a place that understands the importance of design and the simplicity and beauty of nature is allowed to shine through. There are some magnificent trees in the grounds that enhance the 'treehouse' experience. I stayed with my two family members for 6...

This is a very well appointed hotel right on the edge of Lake Garda, set in the heart of Torbole. It is a great base to explore the area from, there is a bus stop almost outside the hotel and the ferry stops a couple of minutes walk down the road. It is very comfortable, the staff are lovely and it has excellent facilities. Breakfast over looking the lake is a real treat. I would recommend eating there for an evening meal at least once. The food is exquisite. Overall we loved our time there and...
