Fresh seafood awaits at the bustling fish market where local fishermen sell their daily catch each morning. Explore the pristine beaches along the Costa de la Luz or join a guided tour through nearby Marismas del Odiel nature reserve.
The staff were extremely professional and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, full of character and has been lovingly renovated. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is also very dog friendly which is great for us as we were visiting with our small jack russell.

Don Diego Hotel in Ayamonte is as good as you can get, the price is quite reasonable and the rooms are spacious spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfordable. I had difficulties with wi-fi but this didn't interfer with my stay. Personally, I had a very good experience in this establishment. One last negative comment the breakfast is not so good in comparrison to an Irish breakfast.

Great place to stay. Very close to center of Vila Real de Santo Antonio. Very close to bars, cafes, restaurants, buses, small walk to the train station and bigger supermarkers. 10/15 minutes. Great transport links, trains to Faro and beyond and a ferry to Spain. Staff were grand, shower great and the bed was very comfy. A 24 minutes walk would get you today fabulous beach where you can walk to Monte Gordo. Beach is about 7 miles long. You can also walk through the trees or at side of a safe...

The hotel was exactly as it appeared in the advertising and didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and helpful and our room was beautifully appointed and clean. The restaurant, whilst quite expensive, was open for long hours allowing lazy breakfasts and relaxed meals, especially when we arrived late at 10 o'clock at night. There was never a problem with availability of sunbeds at the pool as the hotel has a small number of rooms, and the pool was a lovely peaceful relaxing place to be with the...

Lovely hotel on the hill above Ayamonte, a very peaceful location with a beautiful view of the sunset over the river which is the border with Portugal. Clean, good service, ideal if you want to explore the area and stay in a relaxing and chilled space.

We absolutely loved our stay at Verdelago and would happily return. The resort is beautiful, the staff were wonderful throughout, and the restaurant team in particular were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really made the stay feel special.
Honestly, the only things missing for us were a spa and a heated pool. Add those and it would be pretty much perfect!
We had such a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

The property was finished to an extremely high standard throughout, with fantastic, cosy, cottage like rooms which made us want to spend more time there in the evenings. The hotel was never busy, it only has 9 rooms I believe, and so we were often all alone by the pool which was lovely.

Lovely family stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Quinta dos Perfumes. The room was spacious and the bed was big enough for the two of us and our 2-year-old. We loved the beautiful swimming pools surrounded by orange trees, and the bikes with a child seat were a great touch — we enjoyed cycling to the nearby town.
Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the fresh orange juice was a must! 🍊 All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Elizabeth, who was very nice and helpful to us...

beautiful hotel, excellent food, large rooms with balcony, wonderful sea views as hotel backs onto beach and pathway runs from hotel to beach, surrounded by beautiful green trees and shrubs. Lovely pool with spacious bathing areas. Staff were always helpful. Fairly quiet area as this is the only large hotel in this area, but lovely streets and restaurants nearby. Perfect relaxing holiday! Would definitely go again!

Out of this world. Aesthetically perfect. A place to really relax and switch off. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. I would come back here again in a heartbeat. Superb.
