"This was a lovely old hotel with perfect attention to detail. We had dinner there both nights (area is quite remote) and were not disappointed. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. If we are this way again we’ll definitely be staying again."

Disappointed
"Communication was a real problem. I wonder if staff were discouraged from trying to understand English. My Italian came from Google translate and even that was a disaster. Staff generally not friendly or helpful. Did not offer to assist bags up or down the hotel steps for guests in their senior years. ..."
