"As a solo traveller I was glad to find affordable single person accommodation. However the single rooms are downstairs and there is no balcony, or view or even a proper window. It is possible to be outside but it’s a terrace walkway between buildings. I am sure the upstairs rooms are much better. Excellent breakfast tho the buffet is waiter controlled creating much comedic confusion. Breakfast is ok tho. No tea / coffee machine in room and I’d been used to that in my other rooms in Italy. "Staff was great, breakfast was delicious. It is quite a hike up the hill from the port, so I do recommend buying a bus pass when you get off the ferry. There is a bus stop directly across from the hotel. "

"Gorgeous hotel with easy access to the sea. Clean and nice rooms. Decent breakfast. Free access to the sauna and steam room which is a nice addition. Staff are very friendly but they are definitely short staffed as all requests take a lot of time and usually several reminders. This includes towels, breakfast requests such as coffee, and assistance with reservations. Would still consider returning given the beauty of the property. "

"WOW! So so so happy I booked this hotel. It’s very clean and beautiful, but what makes this unique is the service. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. This hotel is very centrally located and the rooms are nice. The bed was very comfortable which I found to be a rarity in Italy. The breakfast alone is worth the stay, I could not believe such an elaborate breakfast was included in the room price. The coffee was phenomenal and the food options were plentiful. I can’t wait to come back! "
