"The hotel is a budget hotel. Given the limited options in Zamboanga, the hotel is good, and the price point is very reasonable as well. Don't expect anything fancy; you're not paying fancy prices! The rooms are old but clean, as is the washroom. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The location is on the border of a commercial area and somewhat residential area - you will hear noises from the street, but not regularly (might be different for very light sleepers). Short story: I would stay...

"A disaster from the start. The room smelled horribly musty and the toiet didn't flush. The safe indicated a low-battery which caused me not to use if for two days. The room was in a distant wing where no amenities were located.
The complimentary breakfast buffet was quite good with a nice selection of fruits and local/western options. The pool and central grounds were very nice and it was very, very easy to hail a tricycle to go anywhere in town.
