I have traveled many places and used many hotels over the years. Among them, it was ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd among the truly memorable places. In particular, what is comparable to other places is that the owner runs everything himself, of course, with well-trained staff, he is friendly, clean, etc., and does a thorough job of welcoming customers. The convenient thing about staying here was that everything a traveler needed was nearby. I had a very comfortable rest as the city center, numerous parks, Gulf, and restaurants are all within a 10-minute walk. Although it was a small hotel, I was impressed by the owner's hard work and dedication to customer care. I pray for your success. Thank you all.

Everything was great, except the room we had booked was not available, and as the hotel was fully booked we were unable to change from what they had given us. We had to use a temporary bed for 2nd person. Hotelier shouldn’t assume a room booked for 2 is a couple. Staff were very apologetic. Bit disappointed really as have used this hotel quite a bit when in Invercargill on business, but all in all, will stay there again as everything else is great.

The property was adequate for a one night stay. It is in a good location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a no-frills property, but for the price, it is well worth it.

Chemical smell in room
Have stayed here before, the rooms are always clean and comfortable. This time the carpet and room had a very strong chemical smell which was very overpowering and made the stay very unpleasant.

The management of this motel went to extra lengths to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Even to the extent of tuning in the tv to sky sports to make sure we could watch the All Blacks. We were very grateful - thanks

The room was very clean and well kept. Spacious, neat and tidy. Only problem we had was that it did not have sports channel to watch the rugby but netflix made up for the disappointment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay. Burger King is within walking distance too.

The place was tidy, quiet we had the back row. Only a microwave for cooking. Comfy king bed Spa bath which was a nice bonus. Stayed 2 nights. Supermarket just across the road, very handy Walking distance to town.

Our group had two x 1 bedroom apartments. Our reception was very friendly and helpful, milk was provided. The rooms were very big and had everything we needed but were utilitarian, not luxury. Location is good with a big supermarket across the street. Shower was good. The rooms must be well insulated as they were very quiet; the motel seemed to be full but we heard nothing from other rooms or from cars leaving in the morning. Parking is a bit limited - we only had one car for two rooms but when we returned from dinner the only spots left were the two disabled ones.

It was all good but the car park is a bit tight and there were pretty much no parks left the night we were there.
