"Stayed one night in February. This is a budget hotel, and I am rating this as a budget hotel.
The property is basic, clean, no thrills. The room was adequate, the bathroom was a bit tight, felt like in a space capsule. Sleep was comfortable. Had a desk to do my remote work. Walking distance to the U-Bahn station. There is a supermarket around the corner. "The hotel has recently been created from an old schoolhouse and they have done a beautiful job. The entire place is immaculate and nicely appointed. There is a bar and restaurant on site which also has a buffet breakfast available. Staff was helpful and friendly. We have family in Schwelm so we will definitely stay here when we visit again and will encourage other family members to do the same."

We enjoy the typical German style of a family owned, host on site experience... and the breakfast is good! Excellent location too. Bochum town centre is only a few minutes away on the frequent tram which stops nearby. Would recommend Haus Vocke to anyone!"
