"Beautifull place in beautiful location with great owners....what else can you wish for. The location is perfect (waterfront), right on the Cabot Trail and short drive to the southern Cape Breton if you wish to visit Sydney. Thank You - Highly Recommended :)"

"The people and the view are unbeatable! Breakfast was scrumptious and the dining room/deck are excellent venues. The rooms were fine - comfortable enough beds, good shower. Soaps, shampoos of low quality. No iron. It's about 10 minutes from the restaurants, etc, which is also acceptable. It's a shame the restaurant is no longer operating except for breakfast. We are sure it must have been amazing."

"Gorgeous location with private beach. Highly recommend. However, disappointed the hot tub not working when we were there (likely another guest shut it off accidentally they said). One other small quibble: we were strangely given only three plates, three bowls. For the price point, I think they need not be so stingy on the dishes. Having said that, nicely maintained, gorgeous location."

"The staff and owner were really great! We stayed for 2 nights and they helped us with getting kayaking ready. There are two issues we had, one was we didnโt realize how cold it gets at night (even in July). We stayed in an older plastic dome so it felt more like a tent. Make sure you bring winter PJs/extra layers. The other matter was outside of our control. The shower area drained towards the toilet so everything was wet after a shower. Aside from these two things everything else was amazing. I definitely want to come back but maybe stay in the hard domes with a kitchenette."

"Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place."
