Room was okay and location was only 15 minutes from downtown. The hotel was alright for the price. The room was hot and never cooled down. We were mislead about breakfast and the staff at the counter was not nice or helpful when I brought it up. He argued and was extremely rude. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk said breakfast would be down stairs. No indication if it was complementary or how much it cost. My husband went down for breakfast and was seated without any information on how much the buffet cost. He said the breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast with eggs, fruit, and some pastries. Not anything extravagant. He only had a half a plate of food because there wasn’t much. He was then given the bill of $22 dollars!!!! $22 for some fruit and eggs??? You don’t even pay that much at a restaurant for one person a meal. When we checked out I mentioned it. I said I feel like we were mislead and the price of the buffet should have been somewhere before you decide to sit down. I said I would suggest you tell people that from now on. The guy at the desk got extremely rude and argued that we were not mislead because they do not know if we were just getting eggs for $6, a voucher, or the buffet. One, $6 just for eggs?? Two, how were WE supposed to know about any of that?? This is your business. We don’t work here. We walked out. The customer service was ridiculous. At least apologized for us being mislead. I will never stay here again.
