Very pleased with our hotel, it had both character and a touch of luxury! Beautiful dining room also where we had breakfast, but service could certainly be improved there. Still it would not put us off staying here again when we return to Florence.

Very conveniently located & I doubt wether you could stay in a more beautiful hotel in Florence for the price. The room we stayed in was big, the buffet breakfast was impressive and the staff were nothing short of exceptional when it came to customer service. Recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a true gem of a hotel. Perfect location, amazing ambiance, helpful and friendly staff. Could not have been a better experience. This is my go to place in Florence now.

One of the best concierge and customer service teams I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. From booking dinners to recommending activities even at short notice. Hotel, quality, room and breakfast were also excellent with no complaints.

Booked the Ponte Vecchio Suites and Spa based on previous user ratings - and I was not disappointed.
On arrival the staff were friendly and very helpful - check-in process was great. We were shown to the suite which was bigger and better appointed than I was expecting. Clean, airy and light. Sofa, dining table and chairs, kitchenette, bathroom with rainfall shower, huge bed (one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in!). Fridge, stove top, dishwasher, coffee machine, TV with Sky -...

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel Minerva. The location is minutes from the train station on a lovely pedestrianised piazza, and walking distance to the main attractions. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay - we hadn’t booked tickets to the sights but they managed to get us tickets for the Accademia to see the statue of David. Breakfast was fabulous, running until 10.30 on Saturday and 11am on Sunday, so no need to rush out of bed. We spent a lot...

Just returned from 5 nights at the outstanding Grand Hotel Villa Cora - surely the jewel of Florentine hotels. Not only is it beautifully maintained and comfortable with gorgeous grounds, fantastic furnishings, linens changed daily and brilliant bathrooms (we had two in our duplex suite), the staff treated us all as old friends of the hotel, valued guests and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Perfect breakfast, with a complimentary 10 minute massage after - made for an excellent start to the day. Great central location, close to everything.
Relaxed atmosphere. Brilliant that the gym next door can be used for free.
Very happy staying here.

Reception staff efficient and polite. Booked standard room but stayed in larger room /suite which would be ok for family. Bed a little hard would be only criticism. Ideal location. Rooftop bar a sun trap.

Located through a huge arched doorway into a small courtyard, the lift up to the reception on the second floor is on your right. We arrived slightly early but were able to check in straight away - we even got an upgrade to a superior room. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel extremely comfortable. The sheets were the best I've had in any hotel! There was even a turn-down service if you wanted it. The rooms were well equipped. Oodles of toiletries, although no shower gel. However, soap...

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff. Location is great too, only a short tram ride to the city centre. Loved the birthday pancakes for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable.
Only minor downside is the hotel is next to a busy road and you could hear the traffic when trying to relax in the garden.

A beautiful city needs a beautiful hotel to stay in and the hotel Torre Guelfa is just the hotel that fits the bill. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful, clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were very tasty and plentiful.

Lovely big room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A short distance from all the main attractions and designer stores if you are interested in shopping.
Lift starts from first floor but if you need assistance you just ring the bell on arrival and a member of staff will come and assist you.
A small hotel but I personally prefer that.
If you are using the train on arrival and for excursions the train station is a short walk away and you get the pleasure of walking past Santa Croce Church....
