Wakka
"While it was โglampingโ, the people there made all the difference! Nice bbq dinner and breakfast. A shoutout to Pierre who loves what he does! In all likelihood you will bump into a wonderful person, Daisake-san, who has been with Wakka for the longest time and was literally born on the grounds of what became Wakka. He is the boat captain who takes you out sightseeing and fishing (and if you catch something, he will make sashimi for you). Wonderful stop for us on our intermediate stop across the Shimanami bike ride."
Green Hill Hotel Onomichi
"I had a wonderful 3 nights stay at the Green Hill Hotel. The staff was very helpful and welcoming and the room absolutely spotless. I was in Onomichi for the Shimanami Kaido experience plus a day of sightseeing and I thought the hotel was perfectly located for both of those. It is also right in front of the train station, quite practical. The availability of the laundry in the hotel was really a plus. Will definitely return to the Onomichi area and at this hotel. I highly recommend."
Imabari Kokusai Hotel
"We had just finished a two day 75 km bike ride and weโre ready to relax. Fortunately, this was the most luxurious hotel we had booked on our entire trip and when we arrived, we were not disappointed. The hotel screams old world charm with its ornate lobby and elaborate boutiques. The room was beautiful without standing views of the city and bridges and our dinner on the 23rd floor, Teppanyaki restaurant with a private chef was unparalleled on the entire trip. This is a bit of an indulgence by Japan standards, but certainly worth it!"
Hotel Aisul Matsuyama
"Though the hotel is an older hotel, still really enjoyed my stay. The staff were super helpful and kind. The room was also clean, even though an older style I still enjoyed staying here. Also close to the JR line and tram lines. Thank you :)"
HOTEL STAY Plus
"The hotel was nice! There were no staff, but it was easy to check in on the tablet by the front. The room was very small but inexpensive. Also there is no bathroom in the room but the amenities outside of the room were clean."
Hotel Route Inn Imabari
"Very clean and in convenient location. Room is small but cleverly laid out & functional. Delicious breakfast buffet. Staff were lovely!"
Hotel Patio Dogo
"Fantastic location right next to Dogo Onsen, Plenty of shops and food options around, clean and safe location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a small hotel, but it is great."
Hotel MyStays Matsuyama
"The property was a little dated but the room was clean and the staff were all kind."
