Lovely stay.

Wonderful hosts nothong was too much trouble for Sandie and Dave. Good location 15 minute walk to the harbour, bus stop right outside. Breakfast very good, and cooked to order.

Arrived in the aftrnoon, weather was lovely and we were greeted by Sandie, lovely lady who is very helpful and informative, easy free parking outside the guesthouse. The room was a decent size with everything needed for a few days stay. Bed was very comfy for me, husband said a little soft, but you can't please everyone. Breakfast was lovely you had a choice of fruit and cereal first with your pre-ordered choice of cooked breakfast to follow. Lovely little guest house with pleasant and friendly owners. Thank you

Best guesthouse ever

Where it was is 5-10 walk to the town & sea side Rooms clean Breakfast is lovely (full English breakfast served on a hot plate) Staff Very good customer service

A nice property, good room at the back of the house and a friendly welcome.A bit of a walk to the seafront but not really a problem. Good breakfast.

A great trip!

Hosts were very welcoming and had a lot of local knowledge of restaurants and sites, helping us make the most of our trip. Room was decent size, clean and incredibly comfortable. And breakfast was 10/10!

Great weekend

Sandie & Dave were very welcoming, helpful and we had a lovely stay. Room clean .comfortable. shower lovely hot .we slept very well and the breakfast was excellent and just what we ordered and more Carparking outside . Easy reach of places to visit. Would definitely stay again .

Delightful !

Everything a guest house should be. A warm and friendly welcome from the owner, Sandie. A lovely clean room with a refreshments tray, quality hair drier, good tv, plenty of cupboard and hanging space and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was on the compact side but did the job with nice fluffy towels. We asked for an early breakfast and got it with a smile. More than enough choice and served freshly cooked

Clean and comfortable

The Burnside is very clean with modernised a modernised bedroom and shower room. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was very good with a good choice.

Best stay so far

stayed at this hotel for two night to go to woolacombe beach with my girlfriend, when we got there our welcome into the accommodation was exceptional! The room was even better and the breakfast was fab. The only downside to our stay was the weather was not its best. Definitely will return to this hotel!

Not sure about the service

My wife and I stayed for two nights and we were met by the very pleasant and informative Sandie who gave lots of useful information about the area and and where to go. Sandie was very chatty and helpful during our stay. The room was comfortable and the whole place was spotless. The breakfast was the usual full English and very good although the milk provided was long life which we both hate. We later requested if we could have pasteurised milk instead but was told that this was not possible as the House did not "hold" any other type of milk. We were a bit taken aback by this by this bearing in mind the good choices given for other breakfast items and that surely it would have been quite simple to have shown reasonable customer care by agreeing to such a basic request. Bearing in mind the cost of £65.00 a night we really were quite peeved over this, the refusal meaning we could not have a cereal course and nor our first choice of drink; i.e. tea. It somewhat spoilt our entire view of the customer service here as well as the breakfast itself, hence the low rating we have given.

Immaculate B&B by Owners Who Really Care

Burnside B&B is a small but lovely B&B, boasting only 3 rooms. The owner greeted us upon arrival, and was very friendly and helpful. We were lead to our room, the King Suite. It was very large with a King bed and even had a Twin bed in the room which we found handy to rest our belongings on. The B&B is very well kept up. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Upon arrival, we received a card to select what we would like for breakfast the next day. It did not disappoint we were very happy with the breakfast, and not to mention to overall stay!

Good stay but beware road noise

Nice welcome, large room with adequate en-suite (that needs a better expel-air). Breakfast very nice, with adequate choice and room for most appetites. Only real down side was that the hotel is on a very busy road which was very noisy late into the night and from fairly early too. Short walk into town.

Stayed at this lovely guesthouse on April 23rd for 1 night. My wife and I were in town to attend a wedding at the nearby Tunnels Beaches (a must visit if you're close). We arrived at 12.15 and were greeted by Sandie, our room was ready (due to Sandie emailing us a few weeks previously asking us when we would be arriving). We were in room number 1 which has a lovely four poster bed, the room was spotlessly clean, it had tea/coffee making facilities, cupboard, drawers, sofa and a tv. The ensuite was also clean and fulfilled our needs. We were asked to fill out what we wanted for breakfast the next day, all the usuals on the menu, bacon, eggs etc. Breakfast is served between 8.30-9.00. We were also offered cereals and the table had a bowl of fresh fruit waiting for us. Spoke with Dave and Sandie after we had a finished and they were great. Full of local information. Recommended.
