"I enjoyed a wonderful 4 day Easter break staying at the Carlton hotel. Elliot was very welcoming and efficient in making me feel comfortable as a lone traveller. The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere and bright and cheerful in decor. My room was lovely, extremely comfortable bed and I slept so well. I really enjoyed waking up to the sound of the seagulls. The hand soaps and shower gels smell divine and the nice fluffy white towels too. I appreciated the complimentary bottle of water every morning to take with me on my daily explorations.
The in house restaurant with perfectly laundered white linen cloths was a real luxury and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful with a great choice of eats to start your day. I also dined in the restaurant for my evening meals too and highly recommend the Chicken Supreme it was superb.
There is a cosy library with small games tables for chess and scrabble too which is a nice touch especially if you enjoy some quiet time.
The hotel has a car park out front and Dawn was so kind and helpful carrying my little case to my car for me and opening doors for guests with luggage.
Michael was very quick and efficient checking me out and providing me with my final bill on departure. I highly recommend this hotel and may they long continue . I give them 5 stars."
"We booked this last minute and, given the price, I wasn’t expecting much—but I was genuinely surprised at how great our stay turned out to be. The accommodation had everything we needed, and the very good WiFi included in the price was a big bonus.
The onsite restaurant served delicious, reasonably priced food, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I also have to mention the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout.
If we ever return to the area, we would definitely stay here again."
"It's mazing place to stay with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen with all needed equipment and nice welcome pack. Everything was very clean. Amazing outdoor space. The only downside is no place to walk the dogs. "
"Lovely room with a fantastic bath and shower in the bathroom. In the bedroom there is a huge tv which you can move the angle of the screen so that you can view comfortably from either the bed or small sofa, the tv even had a fire stick which we really appreciated. The heating was just right too, not too hot or too cold. Fabulous central location and free on road parking about 10 min walk away. Jonah the owner is lovely and checked we had everything we needed, he even let us check in early. "
"Tricky parking, spacious family room and lovely lady that made our youngest very happy by catering to her teddy for breakfast. Property dated and in need of a deep clean, breakfast was lovely "
