The JAL hotel is wonderfully located in Nagano city, only a few blocks walk to the train station. A full and large Breakfast is available everyday on the top floor for amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Rooms are quite spacious. They serve free ramen or ice cream every day from 8-10 and it was extremely convenient getting back from a day of exploring and having that option at the hotel instead of having to look for food.
