"We didn't receive an email about check in instructions as the booking information said i would. We phoned them and advised we wouldn't need the sofa bed made but it was made anyway. Check in was at the hotel round the corner and was so slow it took probably 20 mins. The bath was designed so that having a shower floods the room as the bath tub was not flush against the wall. There were light switches that don't work. The aircon vent was dripping onto the floor by the front door and the stain...

"Loved this hotel. Rooms were great - decent size and incredibly clean (premium balcony with river view). Swimming pools were fantastic - there different pools at different temperatures. Lovely lobby with comfortable seats and a nice outdoor seating area. Breakfast was reliable - hot cooked items (bacon, sausage, egg, beans, etc), cold meats and cheese, breads and pastries and more. We had travel cards for getting around - bus stop outside by the Prima store (also helpful to have nearby) and a 10 minute walk to the metro m3 line."

"Very clean establishment and very reasonably priced, good transport links very close by and very nice rooms. Breakfast was very nice with a decent choice but could have been slightly increased also some food was cold but as a whole very nice. Main gripe with the room was the bathroom door was very hard to close like the door had not been put on right. Was pretty annoying when everything else seemed well thought out. Also bathroom was pretty small and pillows on the bed were not really that comfortable for us due to the softness but that is inderstandably personal preference. All in all a great stay for a good price. Would likely stay again in the future."

"We arrived at 8.30 am from the train. The lady on reception said we could store luggage (large room). The receptionist told us where a laundry was and gave us a map with other information. Very helpful. We went and washed our clothes, had breakfast and returned to the luggage room. We then went out. We returned at 5pm and checked in. Our room was floor 4 and there is a lift. The room does have a portable air con unit which works well. The bathroom was large and it was very clean. The rooms look into a central courtyard. We slept well and considering this was grand prix weekend the staff were friendly and helpful. Very close to metro line 1 too should you choose not to walk!"

"The good: impressive, unique, albeit somewhat out of the way hotel. Room was very nice to stay in. The bad/ugly: Slight sewer smell near room 104. Hotels love to put hotels.com reservations in least appealing spot. Hot tub pooled water in floor. Restaurant menu was mediocre - not sure why it pops up on so many lists. Hotel is worth a try if price is right."
