I was turned away after I already paid through Expedia due to me having a legitimate service dog. The owner (who also owned a dog) refused to read my dogs paper work and was very rude and unpleasant. I had to drive 1.5 hours through without conditions back to my home in Nederland. I would never stay at that motel ever again. In fact, I plan to take legal action if possible.

This fellow was " turned away " @ Check-in... He did not have a COLORADO Service Dog License: His lodging Fees were refunded via Expedia.com. Kind regards, Sam Salter/owner 32 years

The owner is breaking ADA laws, I have a medical service animal that he would not allow in the room. He kept saying ‘no pets allowed’ while she is NOT a pet, and he has a dog in his own room right next to the check in office. He kept saying I could leave and go stay somewhere else, when you’re not legally able to deny a service animal.
