"Best hotel I have been in Japan so far. Spacious, bathroom was clean and updated. Bathtub was very good. 4 minutes walking distance to the lake and restaurant options. Rooftop with the view of Mt. Fuji. The tatame space was the cherry on top."

"Have stayed here perhaps 20 times on business. Used to stay at Keio Tama Centre but was becoming very tired and over run with tourists. Relatively expensive but you get what you pay for, professional staff speak English, decent breakfast, excellent Tepanyaki, and now the bar stays open until late."

"Traditional Japanese style hotel in a great location on the lakeside. Room (after we changed) was spacious but very outdated in terms of technology. No USB sockets, very old TVs (not that we used them). We would have been fine with all of this, but the service and attitude of the staff (mainly the men) at the front desk was disrespectful. In general, we felt uncomfortable that for every request for a service like the onsen or massage we were required to pay in advance as if we were a pair of thieves."
