"Excellent hotel perfectly located. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was quite spacious and the bed comfortable. No disturbances from outside noises. I was a bit taken aback by the bathroom layout but that didn’t takes away from the comfort of the room. I was able to park around the corner from the hotel and assumed it was free public parking but can’t say for sure. I didn’t get a ticket"

"The evening meal was delicious. Breakfast was tasty but as there was a single person managing reception and the cooking unfortunately there was quite a wait and I did feel sorry for the lady who was working flat out trying to do it all"

"I have stayed a few times. The deluxe, modernised, rooms are better and worth paying that little bit more. Saying that it is a comfortable stay whatever room you choose. Excellent breakfasts. Fantastic staff and location is great as well. "

"Clean room, good breakfast, comfortable queen size bed although always prefer a king size. Shower door got stuck which was a bit of a nuisance. "

There were some quirky things about the lights in the room such as the foyer light being on a sensor that seemed to be activated when approached from a distance. It took a long time to go out! Room was ok."

The hotel was an excellent base for the visit, and even has a bunker, field gun , trenches and shells, and a massive crater within the grounds of the hotel. If I was in the area again I would be happy to stay here again "
