Not a lot of shops- rather grey itself .but plenty to see in Leicester and the surrounding countryside

Nice venue, impressive building and decent room. Stay slightly marred by room with corridor entry door outside so some noise from that, but in general this seems to be a quiet location and building. Good breakfast.

Overall very good and I'd happy go back, however the hotel has a very strange and rather disjointed layout, and the public spaces whilst very well kept and pleasant don't go the extra mile to make this feel like a premium experience. Room was tidied when we went to breakfast. Breakfast choices were good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Dining in the evening was very good and they were very helpful with portions as we had our granddaughter with us aged 8

Needed to add an extra night due to one of my siblings being end of life. The lady on reception was so kind to find me a good rate and stay in the same room. This is why I choose to stay at the Gresham every time I need to visit my family. I can’t fault the place in the least. Will keep coming back ...

The room was quiet clean, spacious and cozy. Had all necessary kitchen utensils. The shower room was clean.
