The town of Rye was 10 mins by car and full of historical charm. It was even being used for filming while we visited. "Nicely refurbished rooms but no heat in the room so was given a small space heater?? Then mid afternoon the music started beneath us, we were told by the front desk the party would finish between 5-6pm. At 7pm it was still going strong. Music so loud no TV could drown it out and the floor vibrated. We asked to be moved, which was accommodated but only to a smaller queen size room (we had a king) - no compensation and no apologies. Would not stay again. "
