Very occasionally you come across a special place that will stay with you forever. Saucy Willow is that. Beautiful setting and gardens, house that is tastefully and lovingly renovated. The rooms are great, super comfy beds, powerful shower, fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up (thanks Dave for packaging scones for us to take away). All the small touches show the care that Stephanie and Dave have for their guests - a fire by the river in the evening, beach towels for after swimming,...

Same as other reviews- can’t fault anything really. Helpful friendly staff, rooms comfortable and spotless, breakfast very good. Very good value for money. One small quibble would be the plastic cutlery- useless for cutting food/eating properly and not helpful for the environment- but we accept this is common practice.

We had beautiful lake view rooms, the dinner in The Roseau was excellent & the kayak/ canoeing on Lake Joseph was truly amazing- we will be visiting again .

Fab hotel in a great location for visiting Algonquin and surrounding areas. The reception staff were lovely and the room clean and had enough space, and the beds were pretty good too. Breakfast had some decent choices, best part was the waffles! Easy to walk across the street to shops and restaurants and a short drive into the town which was lovely. Would recommend.

Brilliant stay clean and modern rooms and great facilities

Very comfortable accommodation. Fabulous location next to the lake.

Good accommodation in great location. Room with lake veiw balcony was great. Some parts of room and hotel looking a bit dated. Had to ask for sofa bed to be made up, even though we had booked for 3 adults. Breakfast area very busy at weekend. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend.

A simple motel but everything was done right.

Clean throughout and staffed by excellent experienced helpful people. Great location. Really good size room. Fantastic car park. Good breakfast. Cannot recommend highly enough

Excellent friendly service in very comfortable surroundings all at very reasonable cost.

Lovely stay. Comfy beds

We had Room 1, the very first one on the corner which has a fireplace, really quiet indeed, beds very comfy and room clean and warm, at checkin we just walked into the room and checkout was just as fast as we dropped the key into the checkout box. Price wise it was way overpriced (given that the restaurant wasn’t open, the hot tub wasn’t functional) but we booked around New Year (30st Dec - 2nd Jan) so expected to pay more than usual. The hosts were really lovely and responded swiftly to all our...
