Good lookout from rooftop pool/bar of where three countries meet and the rivers feed dense vegetation. Good variety in breakfast buffet, which begins at 06:00. US $25/person/day. Great for people heading out early to explore the national park. Less packed after 07:00. Amenities are basic. Towels are thin and vary in color. Mediocre soap and shampoo. Small fridge. Lock-box. Staff are generally helpful. Location is close to city center. But you must walk past an area where sketchy folks sometimes linger. Hiring a guide with a vehicle is highly advised to access and explore either side of the park. Brazil requires an ETA (for Aussies, Brits and US-Americans) and that you walk into the office to present your credentials—coming and going. We saw both sides in one marathon day! Overpoweringly magnificent! "
