"Staff on reception gave us an excellent welcome, and were lovely throughout, always saying hello and asking how we could be helped. The room was clean but in the decor it was dated. Our wardrobe mirror door had a big crack that was gaffer taped up. There were no electric plugs by the bed and the carpet was very old. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very good, although clearly a bath had been removed to make a large shower, as the bath taps were still in the wall feeding the shower. Actually a very clever cost cutting idea! We were give a choice of room on the inside outside of the building. Wanting fresh air we said outside. Now what we gained in air we lost in outside noise from the bar below. But that was fine. Lots of storage. Breakfast had a decent choice of offerings. Coffee was ok. Breakfast staff were nice too. Hotel position is perfect for the old town and it feels as if the new chain running it is only trying to improve things further. It is VERY clean. Recommended."

"A well located, great value hotel with a clean well equipped pool. Rooms are quiet and spacious. Although we didn't have breakfast the lunchtime pizza in the cafeteria was massive."

"Great everything. Especially enjoyed the cava on ice that was in the room waiting upon arrival. Best part tho is the rooftop with the heated pool and the best view in town. Not to mention the e amazing vending machine full of great drink options. Liked it so much I’ve already booked another stay here in the near future. Well done and thanks for the hospitality!"

"Room was lovely and staff were very friendly. Were told there were no spaces in the car park but I questioned this (this was why we chose this hotel over others and had free parking as a perk) and there actually were free spaces. "

"Great room lovely view and lots around in the area. Nice pool though not heated there is also an indoor one and hot tub pools. Friendly staff, nice surroundings in the gardens. Breakfast disappointing in quality but a lot of variations."

"We had a lovely stay here, rooms were spacious and there was a decent breakfast offering though the selection decreased following the Easter period. During the peak period there was significant noise in the atrium and then by the pool bar during the night, given this I would probably only return during the low season or ask for a room off the main atrium. "

"Pretty typical setup - small room (I had one with blocked out windows) but better size bathroom. Nothing particularly bad about it, but nothing exciting either. You wouldn't want to stay there it you want to spend any amount of time in your room (which I didn't). Hotel overall a bit more pretence than quality but that's fairly typical of these kind of 4+ star hotels. I had better experience in a 2-star hotel a few days prior. "
