"My stay was great, staff was great but I was just upset with the elevator issue."

"Overall stay was easy and quick. Did not use amenities such as pool or breakfast. The hotel, you can tell was once beautiful and a place for events and gatherings. But the furniture is old, elevator is old, decor is outdated, painting and upkeep is needed, it's definitely a cheap hotel for a reason. Staff was friendly, not much interaction needed. For this to be an Independence hotel, it needs some love invested. "

"Ended up arriving in the middle of the night due to late start for my travel itinerary. Woman at the front desk was very nice and worked quickly to check me in so I could get to sleep right away. Other family members have stayed here previously so would recommend. "

" Close to a lot of dining "

"Restaurant been close since 2020 ...Hot tub not hot luke warm...My bathroom was perfect but my couch was filled with all different types of stains..it was loud as hell ...peaople in the hallway...it just need someone to sell food there its to far from restaurants "

"Overall the room served its purpose. Staff members were pleasant. Nice sized rooms. However our room had a stench in it that never went away. The pull out bed was about 2 inches thick. My kids (6 and 9) never really complained but any bigger than they are, it would be a rough sleep. Pool area we found a lot of trash, clothing tags and dirt around the pool. Pool and hot tub are super small so if you are coming with a group of kids, you run out of room quickly. We had a suite with a bedroom and it was hard to control the temperature of the room. Always seemed like the bedroom was much warmer than the living area. The shower had no water pressure however we were the last room at the end of the hallway. "

"I could not get into the app for touchless check in - there was only one staff member there who was not at the desk he was upstairs helping another guest. The hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the hotel amenities but we did have breakfast which was good but not much of a selection. I barely slept because the walls are paper thin and you can hear every conversation. Also at about 2:30am the people in the room next to us decided to have very loud sex for 2 hours. I had about 1-2 hours sleep. Check out was easy and parking was easy. "
