Manta Ray is a wonderful hotel off the beaten track. The hotel has wonderful rooms with Seaview, the restaurant is excellent with an international cuisine. The owner and chef happily tries to accommodate specific wishes. The beach is right there, nice sand, water is warm. Also good swimming pool. Lovely room, spacious and super comfortable however this was my worst night in Mexico due to a dog that kept barking all night long, I barely slept due to that. When I tried to call reception at 3 am to see if something could be done, nobody answered. It is also in the middle of a construction site, works are happening during the daytime (3 buildings were being built a few meters away) The price was way too high for the services provided, and the area itself offers nothing (no shops, no...

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The position was amazing and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurants were very good too. I would highly recommend this hotel. If you want a room with a pool at the top, either request a top floor or second floor room. We requested a first floor room and ended up on what I’d consider to be the ground floor, however it ended up being a blessing as we could retreat here when the sun became too much, which it often did.

Great views over the bay and a lovely relaxed atmosphere with a nice pool. Staff do everything to make your stay as good as possible - I had a fridge delivered to my room and an extra night at half price. Lovely restaurant here too and only a 10 minute walk to town or a short taxi ride. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful place. The owner is very friendly and has great managing and hospitality skills. The food is all plant based which is fantastic and the free breakfast is amazing, healthy and filling. There is a beach nearby. Would happily stay again- we stayed for 5 days but could have stayed 2 weeks. Perfect end to our honeymoon.

The grounds of the hotel are a peaceful paradise - plenty of deck-chairs and sun-loungers by (and in) the pool and on the beach, with so few rooms that it almost felt like a private stay for just us. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious, particularly the breakfasts, which were filling and provided great variety. Would recommend bringing snacks for the evening when the kitchen is closed so that you can literally not leave the property during your stay.

+ Nice property a short walk from the beach and with 2 pools, a restaurant and good views of the ocean. - Check in was a pain and despite being first 4 or 5 other families that arrived later were assigned rooms before us. All the staff were good apart from the check in team which could have done better - these first impressions matter.

A nice hotel that is very close to Playa Chahue. The room was clean and comfortable and the pool area was lovely. There was a bit of construction maintenance going on during the day so it was a little noisy, but other than that it was great. We did find it a bit odd that they didn't offer pool towels though.

Sits in a beautiful landscape next to the ocean. No cheesy overcrowded beach resort around it. Great pool,very helpful and friendly staff. Little downhill walk (or a small drive down by the hotel ). The beach next to it again have very helpful staff. All rooms have a romantic view to the ocean. If there is one little thing that I think is 4 rather than 5 stars are the main courses at dinner. Still good. Highly, highly recommended this hotel!!!!!
