"Fantastic hotel set in an 800 year old castle. Stunning building, rooms beautifully furnished with all amenities, delightful castle grounds, magnificent setting for the restaurant with quality food. Breakfast excellent too. Difficulty with room keys on arrival and had to return to reception for replacements. On entering room discovered that room was not as originally booked on hotels.com website. After again returning to reception and lengthy dialogue with staff that our room was incorrect...

One ancient tiny treadmill that was broken, on pair of dumbell weights, etc. Not on the level of the rest of the facilities... Nice pleasant hotel. "

"First let me say I stay in hotels all over the world frequently and different countries have different standards. Front desk staff was great for check in and check out. Room was large and clean even if dated. Tennis tournament going on next door but was enjoyable to watch from balcony. Breakfast coffee was very good, but food options were very limited. "Front desk was very nice and welcoming at check-in. Room has a great view, but no air conditioning as advertised. They provided us a fan which was a perfect solution. "
