Location! Location! Location! Perfect. The lobby was nice. Check-in/ check-out was smooth. I will say that the room needed a LOT of TLC and the towels gave sandpaper serious competition. I was on the 2nd floor so the elevator wasn't an issue for us oer se ... HOWEVER it was super slow; definitely something to consider if you stay there on a higher floor. The fact that they only perform room service every 3 days could be an issue for some.

Room very clean. Mike at Reception when we arrived and Henry when we left very friendly. Henry very helpful in storing bags and arranging transport to cruise port.
Hotel location is excellent in terms of proximity to South Beach sites. Short walking distances.
Breakfast convenient and decent value in comparison to local restaurants.

The staff is amazing and very welcoming. The Motel itself is nice to stay for couple of nights (clean, delicious breakfast, good wi-fi). Close to the bus station and dining places. We would highly recommend Galaxy Motel for the stay in Hpa-An.
