Was really looking forward to our stay. Had stayed 2 days in Galveston so family was tired, checked in about 830pm. Checkin person was very blunt, not nice or welcoming at all. Said all the info I needed to know was along with my room key. Elevator smelled of humidity. Getting off the elevator at our floor (4th) horrible smell of like rotten milk. Room was hot, ac was not on yet. Carpet was dirty and stained, bathroom sink had facial hair all over it. Our shower apparently only had warm/hot water. No cold/cool water at all. Stayed 3days/2 nights and pool was dirty and filthy looking didnt seem the pumps were working on it was full of leaves. When I asked front desk about it he said I havent been out to see it myself but I havent had a complaint yet. Another worker said, it hasnt been cleaned since yesterday morning. Service desk guy said itll be dine tomorrow morning but its safe to use. I said its murky looking and doesnt seem pumps are working, he shrugged his shoulders and that was the end he proceeded to help the next person. The pool was never usable in the 3 days. "Light room service" was only available upon REQUEST, so I requested.. not once was my room touched nor my towels replaced not even was the trash taken out for the 3 days. Horrible service! Only nice and helpful person was the older hispanic lady checking food at breakfast on 3rd day, didnt catch her name..
