The rooms were wonderful and owners were nice, BUT-but the property had an old sink, a suitcase, trash, and old, left over construction material under the stairwell and around the stairwell. It was pretty disgusting.

It’s LOUD!!
Aside from the massive renovation going on, many of the other guests seemed to be thugs racing their car engines right outside my door — early, late, whenever. This place seems to attract the lowest of low lifes — no joke! — and the noise outside is very very loud! Good location and price though.

My first and last time
The room was not clean. The bed was FILTHY and GROSS. There was yellow stains on the comforter and dirt on the sheets. I told the front desk attendant about the bed and asked for a new room. He told me he didn't have anymore rooms, even though the parking lot was fairly empty. He gave me new sheets and comforter. I had to change the sheets myself. In addition to that, there was Hair in the tub and around the sink.

We stayed at America Best Value Inn 2419 Riverside Dr., Houston, TX. Our room was very clean. Fresh towels were provided every day. That doesn't happen very often since covid arrived. The best part was that the entire staff was very kind and helpful. We were there to attend appointments at MD Anderson Cancer Center. It was great to be surrounded by such caring people at a time when we were feeling overwhelmed.

I couldn’t cancel reservation, I had to stay one night or lose one day deposit. When I was given room key, that room was already occupied. I had to go back to the office and get another room.

I think that the owner is Indian, and he has his relatives working here--they are not happy, friendly, or helpful. Room was clean and rather new, so that was adequate. I will not return.

This place is under renovation which we didn't know before getting there. The staff was courteous but had no other rooms etc. The manager or owner came out the following morning after hearing from staff about our stay and complaints. All in all horrible stay but nice new owners.

I was grateful to find an opening at this hotel. You can tell that theye are working hard to remodel the rooms and common room. The staff did their best and were friendly.

My room was not clean. My sheets were dirty my toilet had cigarette burns on it. My shower water was horrible. my room was located upstairs, but every time I wanted to use the stairs it was someone sitting on them.
