"We thought the staff was extremely friendly and it was a very busy weekend. This is a nice hotel in a fairly rural area. It was a good location for many local hikes and things we wanted to see. "

"This was a very nice hotel. Parking was the problem not enough had to walk long distance to get to the hotel. The location was close to what we wanted to do and see in the peninsula. I would go to a Hampton Inn on another occasion."

"This motel is older and the rooms are charming. The sink and toilet are newer. The area is pretty: a big lake is across the road. Despite the motel being on highway 41, it was quiet enough at night that we could leave the windows open. The young woman staffing the motel told us that it is owned by her grandparents. The motel is between Michigamme and L'Anse. We went into L'Anse for breakfast. I recommend filling your water bottle at a restaurant for drinking water as their well water wasn't tasty."
