You will enjoy Trinidad when you go walking , music club and back tired to this hostel. You will enjoy Trinidad when you wake up and your breakfast getting ready in an open area .

Kind hosts, lovely property in good location

I had a lovely 2 night stay at the Hostal. Manel and Anita were excellent hosts and the room was very comfortable with some nice little extras like a hairdryer. It was quiet, just a little out of the busy old town but still in easy walking distance, the breakfast was tasty and the drink prices fair. Highly recommended.

It was a great pleasure to stay at Hostal Don Christina with Manel and Anita in Trinidad. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a lovely garden setting to enjoy Manel's tasty and bountiful breakfasts. He can help with money change, restaurant tips, onward travel and excursions - after you've explored the town you can cool off at either La Boca or the more beautiful Playa Ancon - $20US return in a taxi - ask for Victor - he drove us around for three days and took us out to the beautiful viewing area on the edge of town, the old homestead of the sugar fields and the tower. Highly recommend Hostal Dona Christina de Anita y Manel.

It's our best experience in Cuba. Anita is an incredibly hospitable woman. It's like I've come to visit my favorite aunt. She made us feel very welcome, gave us detailed information on where to go and helped us save money for the drive to the beach. Anita recommended her favorite San Jose restaurant to us. Be sure to take the recommendation - it was the most delicious food in Cuba.

We cannot find enough words to describe how amazing our stay at Anita and Manel house was. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. The AC and WiFi worked very well. The bar was well stocked with a good variety of drinks. The breakfast was tasty and abundant, but the best part of our stay was our amazing hosts. Anita and Manel gave us tips for our visit, organised our transport and taught as a lot about Trinidad history. We will always remember our great chats at their lovely garden. Many thanks to both for making our days in Trinidad so special!

Ok stay

Good sized room and comfortable bed, the casa was also in a good location and quiet at night. The room was clean and spacious. Downside was the wifi barely worked, and the breakfast was awful. This was our third Casa during our Cuba trip and the breakfast was by far the worst - ham and cheese was a literal slice of cheese, fruit was about 8 slices, the coffee was undrinkable. The hosts helped with taxis but we had to go to their door to ask as there were rarely around , also some communication issues as Anita doesn’t speak anything other than Spanish.

We stayed in a few casas particulares during our trip and this one was definitely the best. The house seems tiny from the outside but the rooms are massive, nicely decorated and very clean. They are really prepared for the powercuts, with a little power bank to charge your phone and power the fan. The terrace is really nice and there are cold beers and water available at very fair prices. The house is not in the city centre but maybe 15 minute walk from the city centre and about 8 minute walk form the bus station. But the best part of staying here is to get to meet Anita and Manel. They will give you a full city briefing upon arrival (little map included), give you tips on where to go and the best restaurants and can also arrange tours for you. But also they are amazing people, funny and just nice and kind. Save some time to have a beer with them, it will make your stay in Trinidad so much better.

A very good hostal run by kind couple

Friendly and very helpful couple run this very good hostal, 15 mins on foot from the heart of old Trinidad. Solar panels mean 24/7 electricity and internet access - the latter in lobby, not in rooms, however - a rarity in Cuba right now! The A/C system only works when power from the grid is on.

Anita. Et Manël nous ont très bien accueilli. Ils sont d’excellents conseils pour les activités aux alentours. Le logement est vraiment au calme car la chambre est en fond de cours. A quelques minutes du centre. Petit plus , nous avons voyager durant une panne générale d’électricité mais Manël et Anita disposent d’un générateur h24.
