The property is comfortable and calm. Complimentary breakfast is substancial with many options. Best of all was the TukTuk driver and guide Manju, he really made my trip magical. He knows the area well and can recommend less seen sites and great hikes for sunrise and sunset. You can book him at the front desk or contact him on WhatsAp 8123456812

Hampi stay with fab pool and gardens
Great location for exploring main Hampi ruins. Beautiful gardens. Really good swimming pool. Excellent buffet dinners and good breakfast (masala dosa/masala omelette cooked to order). Comfy bed. Good shower. If I am picky I would say bathrooms a little tired and aircon unit extremely noisy but we loved our four night stay.

Worn and dated
While the rooms are big they are old and dated. They had 2 single beds joined with 2 separate doonas which was not comfortable. The grounds were quiet and pool nice but also showing wear with broken tiles. Typical buffet food, warm but plenty of it and they did serve alcohol.

It’s a great hotel. It’s some distance from the ruins so transport needed. Try the spa. Only downside is the ridiculous rule about the pool closing at 7. It’s well lit and safe so no need to close.

Hotel management engaged in serious price-gouging: because home-stays had been shut down recently across the Hampi region because of a court case, we were charged US$280/night for one room for this hotel. (Despite this they wanted to charge us more for an extra bed and breakfast for our child.) The service was ok, there was an overall smallness in the way the place was run.

This hotel is well-located for anyone interested in seeing the monuments at Hampi. It has a very nice pool. Rooms are comfortable and clean, but nothing special -- I am not sure what aspect of this is a heritage hotel. The restaurant does a buffet for meals, which is pretty good, although does not have many non-Indian options. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and helpful. I can't say as much for the management, particularly the front desk, which was not very friendly and seemed to treat us as unwanted guests because we came while the G20 was happening. The naturalist Chandrashekhar provides very nice tours of the local sloth bear sanctuary and is also able to find many interesting and unique birds -- definitely worth going out with him while you are there.

Excellent property. Fantastic look-n-feel. Great landscaping all through the property. Excellent pool. Great sized rooms. Top notch decor in general compared to other resorts in the area. Really close to the main tourist spots in Hampi. And fantastic breakfast.

The pictures on the net are accurate. The hotel is pretty basic but clean. It is around 20 minutes to sightseeing so location wise it's a good option.

Wonderful Family stay
My family of 4 stayed in a pool villa from 11-14 October. Overall, we were very pleased with Heritage Resort. The meals were wonderful, there were only a couple of times that there wasn't a non-spicy option for our little ones. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay.

Really nice hotel, great staff and excellent food! We hired a wonderful rickshaw driver, Manju, from the hotel and he showed us all around Hampi.

The place is quiet and peaceful. I am not satisfied there were no internet service inside or outside the room. Were notified internet service is good in cafe and pool area, but it still didn't work.

We stayed 3 nights to have two full days seeing Hampi. We were pleased with this hotel. It was a nice peaceful place to get back to with a decent pool to jump into and cool off. There are not many hotels near Hampi - mainly lots of guesthouses for budget travellers. The food was plentiful and had something for everyone - it's half board and you need it as it would be a trek to any cafes . The room was spacious and quite tasteful but a little aged and rough at the edges. The front desk was excellent especially the women - really helpful and well organised. They sorted us a cheap all day tuk tuk tour and onward transfers to Hubli airport. I would go back.

This is a very nice resort, close to the Hampi monuments. The resort and rooms are neat and clean, except for the swimming pool which was dirty. The food was standard hotel food, but tasty. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is very strict about its no-cancellation policy. We needed to cancel one room because our parents had to go back mid-way under unforeseen circumstances, but the hotel charged full price for both rooms - I thought they could have given us an upgrade at least :)

Me and my husband visited Heritage Resort Hampi for our honeymoon. Here is my good and not so good feedback. Good points Excellent location for Hampi and local places of interest Staff were pleasant and friendly Relaxing open plan layout of resort Good choice of food, fruit and soft drinks for breakfast and dinner They had a field in the form for honeymoon wondered what was it for as nothing was done by the hotel for that Not so good points Room We chose a jacuzzi villa. This proved a waste of money as there was no hot water for the jacuzzi or to bath or shower, not good in monsoon. Leaking roof, water dripped into the jacuzzi, leaving dirt in the jacuzzi. I informed staff on more than one occasion but nothing was done. Restaurant More like a canteen, requires some soft furnishings and touches to make it a more pleasurable dining experience Bar Again requires some soft furnishings and lights dimmed, to make a social place for customers. TV for customers, not for staff to watch their favourite programs. Spa High cost to customers, for services provided by teenagers. I’ve been to other Spa’s in India. To set the scene consider dimming the lights, and playing eithermellow music or chanting in the massage rooms. Staff Except the restaurant and housekeeping staff and the lady in charge of the place. Repeatitive calls to room to come to food and events. But didn't return calls when we asked any info we had to make follow up calls

Good location for Hampi
Lovely pool, very welcome after hot days in Hampi. Great buffet at breakfast and in evening , wonderful food ingredients organically produced in garden. We paid for dinner and it was great value. Photos do not do justice to this hotel , it was clean , quiet and only 20 minutes from Hampi by rickshaw , same from Hospete. Would highly recommend.

Great hotel for Hampi visits
This hotel is very comfortable, with a pool and spacious room with a good aircon system. The food is okay, being a buffet style (both breakfast and dinner), buffets are not my favourite that's why I am not more enthusiastic about it. The food itself is good though and there is a reasonable choice for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters too. One great thing about the hotel is its location, it is about half way between Hospet and Hampi and located just off the main road in a quiet spot, so a great place to stay for Hampi visits. It is reasonably close to the train station and the overnight bus departures from Paoulo Travels, just a short (20 minutes hop by tuk tuk). Hampi is incredible. Wifi only works very close to the reception desk. The staff here are really helpful and very friendly.

I am so disappointed from that Hotel. My husband and I booked that Hotel. Due to personal reasons, we had to cancel it. BUT 50% of the Money was already paid. After plenty of emails they told us 3 month ago they will transact the Money back on my account. Still now I did not get any Rupee on my bank account. I am calling them every 3 days. Each day they are telling me we will do it tomorrow. This is the worst Service I ever had in an Indian Hotel.

Heritage review
This was an ideal stay for 3 nights and lived up to expectations. Situated outside Hampi in a very quiet location, we were staying in a deluxe villa, within a short amble to the main restaurant. Pool was very clean, however no showering facilities at the poolside. All meals are buffet based, which is something that we don't usually like, preferring a la carte, however what was available met our expectations - the tomato soup and veg hakka noodles were very good. Room itself was very adequate for our needs, although the bathroom gets a bit hot as the air con doesn't reach through and there is no fan in there. There are no other local facilities to the hotel - again, something we expected, but if you want that, I would suggest another hotel.

Excellent rooms, delicious food, great location!
I have visited Hampi three times. I stayed at Mayura the first couple of times. Heritage Resort has come up in the past year and it is an awesome alternative for people who want to stay on the south side of the river close to the ruins. The hotel is only about 7.5 km to Virupaksha temple. The cottage we stayed in was clean in all respects (linen, floor, bathroom), was very spacious, and had good amenities. We enjoyed the hammocks kept outside. The pool side beds were relaxing. The restaurant served us amazing food every time for the 3 days of our stay. The chef Mr. Sanasi took care of our special needs as well. The resort manager too made sure our stay was pleasant throughout. Overall an amazing experience.
