"We got a message from the hotel on WhatsApp that our room was not available. I messaged back through expedia and got no response so i assumed it was a scam. When we arrived, we were told no rooms were avaliable. They made arrangements with the hotel next door for us to stay. We didnt have time to look for another hotel so we accepted. We had breakfast included with the hotel and that was not offered at the new hotel. It was a dingy old place. When we asked about breakfast, the lady,padmini, said breakfast was available at the other hotel. She just wanted to take our money but didn't care about whether we were provided the service. "Room and staff excellent except noise of water pipes surging in Room 202. Could not sleep until it stopped at 11 p.m. but then it started again - a loud surging noise every minute - at 6 a.m. so woke us up. Would not go back again. Manager said it affected 'all rooms' and it required a long-term fix. Said he 'was working on it' (a small compensation gesture?) but nothing happened. Lovely pool but only get 8 people around it."

"The room was spacious and clean, but it needed painting. When we booked we saw photos of the kitchen area and believed we could cook food in the room, however the hob was not connected to the gas and there was no cooking equipment. So this made our stay more expensive as we had to eat out all the time. The view from the pool is amazing and it was clean, however I cut myself on the tiles and there were lots of sharp edges around. The gym needs updating and tidying up. We asked for laundry twice, no one ever collected our clothes. We also asked for someone to help us use the safe, no one came. The food was really nice and good value, staff were friendly. Overall the hotel needs tidying up and and a refresh."
