"I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed my stay. I’d stay here again. It is a great value in a beautiful location. The virtual front desk was a new concept for me but worked out perfectly for my very late arrival. "

"Upon arriving at the hotel at 11 pm the parking lot and front entrance were a hang out for local homeless people. I acknowledge and am sensitive that they are just people trying to stay warm and have no place to go however, it’s not what I expected to be exposed to when on vacation. This happened when checking into the hotel and when either coming and going, being asked for money or cigarettes.
Additionally, I later learned the homeless p are allowed to hang out in the basement of the hotel which is commendable for the establishment to help out with the condition but again people being up all night, yelling smoking in the parking lot at all hours, made it a very unpleasant experience.
The hotel for the most part was clean, but very dated. Our room on the third floor had chipped furniture, old, smelly, sticky carpet one bed was not usable. The heat-air air-conditioning didn’t work and barely warm water in the shower. The room did not have a safe, and I felt very uneasy leaving my personal belongings unattended. These issues were brought to the attention of the hotel manager, Sarah, who stated she was new there and that is the reason why she is there to get the hotel up to Wyndham standards. She was surprised there was not a safe in the room stating that that’s hotel 101.
I felt that we overpaid for this stay at 169 per night. With a big name like Wyndham, I expected more. This was more like a motel off the side of the highway vibe where you would pay $59."
"Pool and hot tub are shut down and there was no prior message on the website to indicate this issue. The drapes are about 30 years old and leave a slight musty smell."
"The room was clean, but everything in it was old and breaking down. You have to ask for shampoo at the front desk and only a small bar of soap with an unpleasant smell was in the bathroom. On the good side, the room had a small fridge and microwave."
"The worker who checked us in was very unfriendly. Ignored us standing there and did not address that we were there for several minutes. The room was very sparse, no pictures on the wall or a table that was to be situated between the two chairs. The furniture was very worn as was the shower. Hotel is located directly by the train tracks so you are awakened frequently. Curtains did not block out the sun and there is a lot of that during this time of year. It was walking distance of 3/4 mile to nicer restaurants but you had to walk past many homeless people making us feel uncomfortable. I do not recommend this hotel. FYI the room also smelled very musty."
