COVID-19 has changed how the world works in all sorts of ways, including how and where we travel. These tips will help you navigate these new challenges and get you ready for your escape to Honjima Island:

• Find out what, if any, rules or restrictions apply to both your destination and origin. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so remember to check before you lock in your flight.
• When you pass through airport checkpoints, keep your face mask on. You will be required to briefly lower it for identification purposes. Anyone refusing to wear a face mask may be denied entry or boarding.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass (paper or electronic) directly to a TSA officer. Instead, position your pass on the scanner and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• You are now permitted to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on bag. You'll need to remove it for screening.
• Empty your personal items from your pocket, like your phone, keys and wallet, and put them in your carry-on instead of the bins. This will minimize handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you have for screening. Food items often set off the alarm. Placing them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA employee to handle and inspect your belongings.
