Our room was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) but not an issue for us, may be for some. Hot water took about 5 minutes to get to the shower in the morning, once it was there it was ready to go. "

"A fab place between Ponta Delgada and Ribeira Grande. Clear instructions were given as to how to gain access. The accommodation was better than described, with a fully stocked kitchen apart from a freezer, but with a supermarket round the corner, that isn’t a problem. "

"We stayed at Moinho da Areia for three days and really enjoyed it. The location is right by the beach, so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The bed was very comfortable, the room felt warm and inviting, and Cristina took great care of everything. It’s also a good base for exploring the island. We hope to return in the future."
