Everything was fine. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. Minimal amenities. I was disappointed that I booked this through Expedia for $150 and my American Express charge was immediately charged $1250. I had to go to the front desk and straighten an issue out as to why they were charging me the regular routine rate when it was booked through Expedia. The issue is yet to be resolved through American Express since the original $1250 charge is pending in AMEX. We'll see what the final charges and hopefully I won't have to bother disputing this any further.

Upon arriving at the resort, found this place to be charming. Our room had a kitchenette with small dining table and 4 chairs, 2 queen beds - which were very comfortable and a nice bathroom. The court yard was lovely! The pool was nice as well! Beach access about a 3-4 minute walk away from the resort. Lastly, I want to give a shoutout to the staff in the office. They could not have been nicer! Plan on booking another stay at Captive Beach resort next year.

Great vacation spot! Perfect location, within steps of downtown and the beach. Thoughtful amenities including free water, free bike rental and free laundry facilities. Ample coffee. Clean comfortable and laid back. Friendly staff. I would definitely return!
