This was our first time staying in Barbados and at the hotel. We had a 1-bedroom Queen suite with ocean view. Very spacious, well equipped and fabulous view overlooking the pool and ocean. Plenty of sun beds available every day; parking for our vehicle; and some great restaurants all within a short walking distance. Staff were great and we would definitely return to The South Gap.

The host waited up for us as our flight got in really late, however i kept him informed. On entry to the apartment the first impression although sparsely furnished, the place was very clean with fresh bedding and towels. It would have been really lovely if the host had provided limited beverages, so we could make a hot drink on arrival and first thing in the morning. Wonderfully relaxing holiday perfect for de-stressing. All rooms benefit from ocean views with every little detail taken into consideration. Wonderful island genuinely kind caring hospitable people.

Outstanding hotel, full of history, perched above the ocean on the beautiful east coast. Everything is immaculate. Rooms are brilliant and food is excellent. Lovely coastal walk to charming Bathsheba.

We stayed at Le Roy Hotel as a last minute decision, having visited Barbados a few times we found this hotel previously Infinity on the beach. We were welcomed by the reception staff who were friendly and efficient, organising our lovely sea view room. The room and the rest of the hotel were immaculately clean, with beautiful gardens a credit to the gardener. Our favourite part of the hotel was the bar and restaurant, the food was a really high standard and the cocktails did the trick!...

A small boutique hotel set in exotic mature gardens. Most rooms are in the garden and have covered terraces that lead to a rock pool which is great for swimming - I managed one length under water to be greeted by a monkey when I surfaced ! They have a young chef who trained in New York, so the standard of presentation and cuisine is excellent. There is a strong artistic and interior design lead influence which will appeal to like minded people.

I’ve never stayed in a more friendly hotel.

I was staying for just 1 night before flying home. I was made to feel extremely welcome by the hosts and their charming granddaughter. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable with all the facilities you'd need. I really liked the information board in the hallway so no questions went unanswered.

We had a fantastic stay here! Both host and housekeeping service were very accommodating and welcoming. The villa is great quality - really spacious, good facilities, lovely ambience and the sun bathing/spa pool balcony with sea view is a huge win! Location wise, you're tucked away in a very safe neighbourhood, a short walk away from local bars (that serve food), some small grocery shops and not far from the wonderful Fish Pot restaurant. Arrived late on 15/1/16 for 14 day stay after a mix up over transfer no show and hitched a ride in an old bus an hour later feeling ragged but nice welcome. Good room spacious super balcony and comfy bed. Bathroom dated and disaster non detachable shower head for hair washing which is a must when in and out of the sea and not wanting full drenching. New tv but usual rubbish international channels but with books, i pads, scrabble to prevent brain drain who cares. Lovely gardens well...

I am a little bit biased by the fact we spent our anniversary at Mango Bay and they treated us wonderfully - everyone was really kind and helpful - the gifts and thoughtful touches in our room were really appreciated. On a practical level you are right on the beach, but can walk around Holetown easily.
