Parking on the premises; I always like such convenience a lot, especially in Switzerland. It is a family run small hotel, so not much fancy shmancy infrastructure there. But the family rooms are big, very well equipped and even have some separation. Also, our family room allowed us direct access to the terrace on the back side of the hotel and the garden, which is super nice and sunny. The breakfast is small but seriously amazing, loved it. What is not so great is the location, all the skiing areas are only reachable by car or public transport and like at least 20 minutes away. What is great though and a little insider tip: The hotel neighbors the Trauffer Hotel and Facilities. Google it, it is quite nice and was a surprise to us.

Exceptional stay, the staff were very accommodating. There was a day that we have to leave early and will miss breakfast…. Stella packed us food to go! The place is so serene and peaceful the view is amazing especially with foliage how we wished we could have stayed longer to see the peak of foliage.

Fantastic stay will visit again!!

A wonderful stay at hotel Alpenrose. We shall definitely visit again. The setting is idyllic, the hotel is comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was simple but nice. Only thing to be improved was the mattress (which may just not have been to our preference) and we would have preferred more pillows. Overall a lovely stay and highly recommended!!

we enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel for 4 nights, very friendly staff, peaceful place with gorgeous view of the mountains, we had a car to travel around and was close to everywhere, 5 min to Brienze lake, 18 min to intarlaken and less than an hour drive to Luzern, bern, lauterbrunen, grinderwald. Spacious and very clean rooms, house keeping everyday, good breakfast.

The hotel with great service and food

We travelled with 3 Golden Retrievers and hotel offer us bigger apartment which was very nice. The breakfast and dinner were so good. Also very good coffee which is very important issue! The staff was great, very good sense of humor and very good customer service. The location was just perfect. Very quiet place. Greetings to staff for great experience with food and service.
