"The apartment was on the ground floor, comfortable and very clean. There were 2.5 bathrooms (one full with shower and tub, one full with shower, and one with just toilet). It was great for us traveling with elderly parents who were moving slow and walking with a walker. The seating and dining area was small but very adequate. "Kálfafellsstaður Guesthouse is a quaint, quiet B&B about 20 minutes NE of Diamond Beach. The property is clean and picturesque. Thora's breakfast was delicious and diverse. "Parking was not easy (for us at least) middle of nowhere (quite literally)- so no food options and we missed the restaurant. breakfast was good!!!! we had a bathroom in our room which was AMAZING!!! we were so surprised we were so happy! no heater in this room so very kinda inconvenient to try and wash some clothes if they got dirty from an excursion. but overall very spacious, nice staff, good breakfast. would stay again"

"Spent two nights at this property. We showed up late in the night, but they had an easy self-check in process. Room was simple and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and warm. Breakfast had the essentials (coffee, tea, breads, spreads, eggs, meats, cheeses). Location was good for visiting Black Diamond Beach and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
