on the second day of my stay when I got back in the evening, I found the room not done and dirty. Asked them, the staff member told me that housekeeping happens every third day of the stay and is done on demand for a charge. To which I pointed out the expedia note on the daily housekeeping. BS at best.

Great location, excellent service - staff friendly and competent without any pretence. Rooms are not cramped and very nice finishes. Pool does the job on hot days but busy and noisy for it to be a relaxing place. Bike hire is expensive but very handy.

Hotel staff were uniformly excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. While the hotel is "pricey", it is definitely a 5-star hotel, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for that type of experience.

The hotel itself was comfortable and clean. But we were told breakfast was included in our reservation and that is why we chose to eat it and when we left, we were hit with a large bill for breakfast and told that it was not included. It wasn’t worth the price of breakfast, we would not have had it if we had not been told it was included in our stay. Rooms did not have any fridges or coffee. We also recharged with extra city tax when we checked out.

"A really nice hotel in certain Rotterdam a few metres from lots of art galleries and cafes& restaurants. The room was spacious and clean. Great views of the city. Staff were friendly and the bread buffet was excellent. Would happily return."
