We spent a really nice evening staying at the Lodge. The property is in excellent condition and really well kepy. Staff were extremely helpful and the food and service were great.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Words cannot describe how we feel about Kapama River Lodge. This place is unbelievable. I’ve stayed at many 5* hotels, but this lodge is far more superior than any of them. The team are AMAZING, Azaria and Milton, our ranger and tracker were unbelievable and so committed to help us track down what we wanted. Kulani the waiter was an absolute delight. Not a single day did I ever see him not smiling. The housekeeping team would make the rooms up three times a...

WOW!! From the second you arrive, to the moment you leave you are treated like royalty. This family run business in the mountains is the perfect getaway. All the family members are extremely friendly, professional and have a great knowledge of the house and the surrounding area. They also have a watering hole, to which someone will notify you when animals are there. As we traveled for our honeymoon, we decided to upgrade to a suite, and we were not disappointed. The views from the room were...

Everything was exceptional! The room was beautiful and clean, every single staff member was so friendly and helpful! The facilities were great, the food was delicious and the safari was just amazing!

Khaya Ndlovu is a rare gem. The beautifully curated indoor and outdoor spaces on the manor strike the perfect balance between elegance and homeliness. All the staff provide perfect but at the same time very relaxed and super friendly service. The food is delicious. South African hospitality at its best!

Wow, what can you say about this place - it's just amazing. We were expecting quite a lot from our safari, but this exceeded it, by a mile... As you only go on safari to actually go deep in the bush, we can certainly say that this achieved our goal and more - the Ranger and Tracker working here, Peter and Sandy, are very, very, very good at what they do. We got the see all big 5 in our first 2 safaris, and went on to see them again and again... They made it a point that we get to see each one up...

We spent three nights at Moditlo Lodge in April 2016 as an end to our holiday. From the moment we arrived we received absolutely excellent service in every single way. From the hotel staff who were helpful, friendly and polite to our beautifully decorated room which was clean and comfortable to the game drives that were exciting, interesting and insightful. Both my wife and I are both qualified Game Rangers ourselves (FGASA) and have spent extensive time in the bush and at various lodges and we...

I booked this for my daughter & her boyfriend as a break whilst they were volunteering in South Africa. They absolutely loved it. The hotel / food were really good and the game drives superb - seeing a wide variety of animals at close quarters. The knowledgeable rangers join the guests at dinner which adds to the experience. They loved it so much they decided to stay for a 2nd night!

Simply wonderful! Game drives were excellent and well worth the early start, although if visiting in winter be sure to bring your cold weather gear. Accommodation excellent. Food great too (could be a bit warmer, though). Friendly staff and a very welcoming vibe.

The view from the chalets is absolutely amazing! Was only there for 1 night but really wish we could have stayed longer!

Matthew And Freddy= legends! Great food! Maybe some live music at the bomo dinners would be a nice touch in future:)

Good standard. Not luxury but position cannot be beaten.
