"What an amazing stay from start to finish. The owners, Eric & Sharon were very hospitable and welcoming. Sharon suggested a few places for us to visit and they all ended up being highlights of our trip. The property is gorgeous, secure, very clean, and very comfortable. Every day started with coffee delivered to your room, and the staff prepares an AMAZING vegetarian breakfast from scratch. I am very particular about my food and I rarely eat the breakfast that is included with hotel stays, but this one is definitely worth mentioning. The rooms are spotless and provide a nice sized refrigerator and freezer. There is also a full set of dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and a portable range for cooking. We will absolutely stay here the next time we visit Costa Rica. All of the reviews for this place are accurate and deserved. Thank you so much for making our first time in CR so memorable!"

"Kenaki Lodge was the perfect home base for our time in Cahuita/Puerto Viejo. With the beach just a few steps away from our room, we could listen to the waves as we fell asleep and could easily relax in the Carribean. We appreciated the privacy and seclusion of the property, while still being able to walk into Cahuita to access the national park and restaurants. Alberto, the owner, and his family clearly take great pride in the property and hosting guests, and they went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. Their onsite breakfast was a great option as well, making it easy to start the day and then go out exploring., and Alberto had no shortage of suggestions for things for us to experience. During our stay we were fortunate to witness freshly hatched turtles released into the ocean, on the beach right in front of the property, and see many birds in the trees around the building."

"The property was beautiful and clean, the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Having only one coffee in the room for the 4 mornings (i.e. not replaced each day) was disappointing, but forced us to go out for a local coffee instead. Having small/snack items for late arrivals and/or while the bar is open would be a great idea."

"The girls at the front counter made our trip extra special. They were kind, helpful and knowledgeable! The location was clean and close to the city but felt secluded. We had the entire beach to ourselves. The food was also delicious!"

"I can’t say enough about the property and the staff. We stayed in the Caribbean breeze cabin for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience. You are about 7 minutes from town in a beautifully manicured area which the staff takes care of all day long. The property is tucked just into the jungle off the beach so you get the best of both worlds. This is a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience."
