"My partner and I stayed here recently. While the hotel is modern and clean, it didn’t quite hit the "luxury" mark for us. It was a good stay, but not excellent.
The Pros:
Spacious Rooms: Definitely larger than your average Japanese hotel room. It was nice to have the extra floor space and a modern layout.
The View: High floors offer a great look at the city skyline.
The Cons:
Missing Amenities: We were surprised that there were no bathrobes in the room, which we’ve come to expect at hotels in this price range. Also, unlike many other high-end hotels in Japan, they didn't provide any skincare sets (cleansers/lotions) to try, which felt like a missed opportunity for a "Premium" brand.
Breakfast was just "Fine": It was a standard buffet. It does the job, but it was crowded and felt a bit like a high-end cafeteria rather than a relaxing meal.
Location & Logistics: It’s a bit of a trek from the main station and the Peace Park. Plus, the elevators are notoriously slow, which gets annoying when you're on a high floor.
Verdict:
It’s a safe, "corporate" choice if you want a big room, but it lacks the thoughtful amenities and soul of other luxury hotels in Japan.
