We stayed at this hotel prior to our departure flight from Vienna, so very convenient as it was a 17 minute drive. The hotel is the equivalent of an English premier inn and therefore of a good standard. We didn’t eat in the evening however breakfast was included and was very good, we were pleased with the options and it was tasty. Of note- No fridge in the room but the staff were very accommodating.

Very impressed!
Very impressed with this hotel. Everything clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Pet friendly. Ample self parking even for our campervan. Short walk to chinese buffet restaurant. Breakfast excellent.

This was a good value for the money. The breakfast buffet was huge and worth the price of the hotel. Getting to the airport was a simple taxi ride.

Nice hotel with perfect breakfast!
Hotel is very comfortable and all details of hotel are decorated in a tasteful way. It is super clean. Stuff is very friendly. There is also free on-site parking which is a plus. Additionally the breakfast was incredible. It has options for all sorts of taste and very delicious. We will definitely choose das Himberg in our next Vienna visit.

False advertising
When a hotel advertises air conditioning on your site, I expect air conditioning! My room did NOT have it. The day had been hot, the room was hotter, and I could not sleep.

Comfortable and Above average airport hotel!
This hotel is a great option for staying when your plane leaves the next day (and you have a rental car...you are too far for a shuttle)...the rooms are modern, are a good size with a great shower and are very clean...the breakfast is a good one...gas station across the street for filling up before returning your rental car...the airport is an easy 15 minute hassle free ride from the hotel. 1

We arrived late and there was no reception staff. We found out later that they sent us an email which we couldn't retrieve earlier about how to get the key. NO AC - when we asked about it in the morning we were told that our room was a Standard one, and AC is only for Superior rooms. On Hotels.com the Standard room we booked included AC! Make sure you verify this issue before finalizing your booking at this hotel. Breakfast was EXCELLENT - superb spread!

Stayed here with my inlaws, close to the airport for our flight home the next morning. Great service, rooms, location, free parking and value. We unfortunately could not take advantage of the breakfast as our flight was too early for the 7 am start, however, it was a nice touch. Also grateful to receptionist who kindly printed our boarding passes for us! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Very nice hotel, amazing breakfast, friendly staff
Hotel is located in Himberg, which is very far from Vienna (almost half an hour by car). Rooms and very nice and clean and the breakfast is amazing, free parking and great staff. Yet, the check in policy is quite uncomfortable since you have to check in before 8 pm on weekends since they don't have 24hrs reception. We booked 3 single rooms, and the last night we stayed one of us lost his room card. There was no one in the hotel and nothing we can do, so he had to share his room with our third friend which is not very nice. The second day they told us that there is a paper hung outside contains the emergency number, but it was written in German we couldn't understand and even if we did understand, we did not have an Austrian sim to call from. All in all it is very nice, they should work on the reception time though.

We were looking for a place to stay near the airport. Price was good and so was the hotel: simple and clean, very nice. Good breakfast included. Parking included. Good shower, good night of sleep. All was great.

Would be excellent with arranged shuttle service
Everything was great, especially food. It's listed as 6 mikes away from airport but it's about 12 miles, so I paid for taxi ,back and forth ,more than paid to hotel. The hotel should consider a shuttle service from and to airport, this will bring them more business.

Nice hotel not far from Vienna Airport
I booked this hotel knowing that my flight to Vienna would arrive late (actually, it was delayed so it arrived 1.5 hours later than scheduled). When I arrived, a group of men were standing by the door smoking. I did not know if the were customers or part of the hotel staff. They helped me found out that my name was written on a paper at the door and I got my code to open the mailbox were my room keys were. I parked my car and walked into the lobby. There was a bar next to it and there was a group of people having drinks. They invited me and hurry me to have one because the bar was closing at 10:00 pm. I gracefully declined the offer because I was exhausted. I went to my room and fell asleep. I had a nice continental breakfast in the morning and I checked out. Nice experience. I would recommend it.

Pleasant and convenient stay
Very convenient for Vienna airport if you are driving. The hotel is nice and breakfast good. We had half a day to spend in Vienna before driving west and on thethe advice of thethe helpful receptionist we drove to the and ride and took public transport from there to the centre which was very convenient. Reviews complaining about distance to the airport are unfair, people should be checking the distances with their transport method in mind.

Great stay at Das Himberg
Very nice, very clean hotel with super friendly people. Breakfast was great and they serve it from 6-10. That was really convenient. We had a small problem with a change to our reservation, but the hotel staff took care of it quickly and without cost to us. Overall it was a great stay and I look forward to going back.

Hotel close to Veinna airport.
Hotel is within 15-minute drive to the Vienna airport, ok-priced, in a very quiet town, with attentive staff and good facilities and breakfast included in the price. Clean, good shower, with restaurants nearby, and a gas station across the street to fill up a rental before returning it at the airport. For a brief overnight, quiet stay, this hotel was very convenient.
