Our 5-night stay at this hotel in downtown Seattle was quite enjoyable! The hotel is in a great location, walkable to the Seattle Center, Pike Place Market, and beyond. The building facade is striking with the big red Five; the lobby is spacious with plenty of seating and decorated in bright colors. Check-in was quick and efficient. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a desk/chair and an easy chair, overlooking 5th Avenue and the Monorail (we enjoyed seeing it go by every few minutes before going out each morning). The shower was roomy, the bath towels plush (with a pineapple design). Mini-market for beverages and snacks available in the lobby.Given all that, the room rates are quite reasonable for a big city downtown hotel. We parked our car in their attached parking garage, going in and out as needed, for a daily fee. Two breakfast joints across the intersection. And plenty of restaurants just a couple blocks away.
