"We were catching up with friends and family in Yeovil. We hadn't been to Yeovil for about 10 years and didn't recognise the town. Lots of renovation going on which will make it more modern. Even the weather was good .We wont leave it that long next time ."

"Cara was very organized and phoned in advance to check the number of beds to be made up for our stay and also sent some details of local pubs and restaurants nearby, so we could arrange an evening meal. The room was much bigger than expected, with a very comfortable king size bed, and a sofa-bed in the room for additional guests. The kitchenette had a small fridge with juice, water and fresh milk, and a choice of cereal was provided. There was tea and coffee as well as a kettle and toaster....

"Unlike any b&b we have stayed at before and the outside staircase to our room was a bit unnerving for us older folks. The rooms were clean and tidy and the shower was simple to operate. We had breakfast in the separate attached Indian restaurant which was beautifully laid out with linen taken clothes. "From the moment we arrived at the White Cottage we were made to feel warmly welcomed by Donna and Steve who turned out to be excellent hosts. We were shown around the property by Steve and then taken to our room. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large en suite including separate bath and shower. The room had tea and coffee, fresh bottled water and biscuits, plentiful towels and bathroom products. Breakfast was an ample choice of cereals, with fresh fruit, yoghurts and fruit juice...

I tried all day and it was so frustrating and worrying as we had no idea where we were going to sleep that night. I left it until 5pm and then found another place to stay. "We were in Yeovil for a few days to visit the Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor Museum. It had everything we needed for a self catering stay but was also close to shops and some restaurants. It was just like the photos and felt quite indulgent. I'd happily go back there."
